PPGI PPGL, also known as color coated steel, features excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance, and good processing performance. It is increasingly popular in public buildings such as stadiums, railway stations, exhibition halls, and theaters. It is widely applied in construction, home appliances, transportation, automotive industry, power plants, and furniture.
1. Coating Types: Options include Polyester (PE), Silicone Modified Polyester (SMP), High Durability Polyester (HDP), and Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF). HDP and PVDF offer the best lifespan, exceeding 25 years.
2. Coating Thickness: Painting thickness is usually 18-22um, with a maximum of 55um. Thicker coatings generally provide better durability.
3. Base Metal: Commonly used substrates include Galvanized steel, Galvalume steel, and Al-Zn-Mg steel. Higher zinc content correlates with a longer service life.
