Thermal Insulation Aluminium Stucco Embossed Sheet Coil with Poly Kraft Paper Moisture Barrier (PKMB)

Moisture barriers laminated to metal including Aluminium and stainless steel are widely used throughout the oil and gas industries to prevent galvanic corrosion of the cladding and also corrosion under insulation (CUI) from underneath. In order to protect the metal jacket or lagging, the barrier must be resistant to water and scratches. When comparing barriers, a Polysurlyn/Polyethylene barrier is able to achieve superior protection against pin holes and moisture ingress.

Our polymer film aluminum coil is a primary material for anti-corrosion insulation projects, widely utilized in pipeline insulation across the Middle East and international markets. Common specifications include thicknesses of 0.3mm to 1.0mm using materials such as 1050H24, 1060H24, and 3003H14.

Application

Used to protect pipe insulation from outdoor elements. Installed with banding or screws, the moisture barrier on the inside of the jacket offers excellent protection for harsh outdoor conditions. It is ideal for use with Fiberglass, Mineral Wool, Foamglas, and Rubber Pipe Insulation.
