Marine Cladding Materials

Marine Cladding Materials

Aluminum foil glass fiber cloth (LYLBB) is composed of aluminum foil, base cloth and hot soluble (oil glue) adhesive by high temperature compound. According to the use of different special flame retardant adhesive composite form a dense film, aluminum foil with a smooth surface, high reflectivity, vertical and horizontal tensile strength, airtight, impervious to water, good sealing performance. With high shielding rate, strong material toughness, and cost-effectiveness, it is mainly used for protection and insulation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are the main components of Aluminum Foil Glass Fiber Cloth?
The material is composed of high-quality aluminum foil and a base glass fiber cloth, bonded together using a high-temperature hot soluble or oil glue adhesive to form a dense, protective film.
What is the fireproof performance of this material?
This material is classified as non-combustible, making it an excellent choice for high-temperature protection and fire prevention in marine and industrial environments.
What is the maximum temperature the cloth can withstand?
The Aluminum Foil Glass Fiber Cloth is designed to withstand temperatures up to 500ºC, maintaining its structural integrity and protective properties.
Is the material waterproof and airtight?
Yes, due to its dense film structure and smooth aluminum surface, it offers excellent sealing performance, being both airtight and impervious to water.
What are the typical applications for marine cladding?
It is primarily used for thermal insulation, heat reflection, and protection of pipes or equipment in marine settings, as well as providing a vertical and horizontal tensile strength barrier.
Are there different specifications for thickness and weight?
Yes, we offer various models ranging from 0.13mm to 0.2mm in thickness and 120g/m2 to 220g/m2 in weight to suit different industrial requirements.
