Expanded metal mesh, also known as stretched metal mesh or expanded metal mesh, is a mesh metal material with regular diamond holes or other geometric patterns. It is formed by cutting and stretching (not welding) a whole metal plate. It is widely used in construction, industry, protection, safety, and decoration.
Processed into a metal sheet in one go by punching, shearing, and stretching, it features a continuous mesh structure. Without welding or breakpoints, the structure is more solid and durable than traditional woven mesh.
