The galvalume & aluzinc steel sheet in coil uses cold-rolled steel as a substrate, solidified by 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon at 600 °C. It combines the physical protection of aluminum with the electrochemical protection of zinc.

Strong corrosion resistance: 3 times that of standard galvanized steel coil.
Lighter density: Area of galvalume sheet is 3% larger than galvanized at same weight/thickness.
